Order Changes and Cancellations
It is our goal to produce your custom made blinds and shades as quickly as possible. To ensure prompt delivery we send your order directly to the manufacturing facility. Most orders can be modified or canceled in the first 24 hours. Unfortunately, orders including products that have 1-3 day production and any orders with expedited shipping cannot be modified or canceled for any reason. All modifications and cancellations must be done in writing on over the phone with one of our dedicated customer service representatives. In the event you need to cancel your order before it ships and your order is not eligible for cancellation, we can attempt to cancel your order for a restocking fee that is less than the original amount of the order.

Samples Policy
The only way to be sure you’re ordering the exact color you want is to order the sample first. Product colors are reproduced and represented on selectblinds.com to the best of our capabilities; however, different resolutions on different monitors and screens can dramatically affect the color you see. This applies to both fabric and wood products. (Please note that due to the variances in a wood's natural color, grain, etc., we cannot ensure the exact color of stained wood blinds.)
Because they may come from different dye lots, sample colors may also vary slightly from the color of the blinds you receive. To ensure the finished product comes from the same dye lot and matches the color you sampled, we recommend ordering products within 30 days of sampling. And if it’s been a month or more since you received your samples, it’s a good idea to re-order them just to be on the safe side when you’re ready to place your order. If ordering multiple blinds, we strongly recommend that you order all of them at the same time to ensure they come from the same dye lot and match one another.
You may order up to 15 free samples at one time. Samples are shipped to you free the next business day via standard ground (usually delivered in 3-5 business days). Samples may be shipped overnight for $5, and will be delivered the next business day. Cutoff for sample orders sent overnight delivery is 12 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Overnight sample orders placed after 12 p.m. Mountain Standard Time on Friday will ship the following business day. No sample orders will be shipped on weekends.
When you sample, you never have to miss out on a sale, either. We are glad to accept Visa or MasterCard payments which are the two options made available at the time of checkout. 

Yes, every order is placed in a hold status for 3 hours after being placed. This allows shoppers to ensure that their choices in colors and sizes are accurate. It also allows for a cancellation on an order, in addition to changes, but there may be some fees incurred. We make every effort to update an order without any further fees added. If an order was placed and needs a change, it is best to live phone us or chat with us directly.

Orders are held for 3 hours before heading into production. This allows for changes to be made in the 3hours window after an order is placed.

Typically, orders take from 1-3 business days. Most custom orders arrive in that window of time, and to the address provided. As a simple illustration, a blind or shade with a one to three business days production process should be allowed three business days to ship, meaning that it would be from four to six business days from date of order to date of delivery.

Should very fixed and precise estimate be required, the Shipping & Production tab in the Product Information section at the bottom of the product page is extremely useful. 

A confirmation email is sent with online tracking information for the order once payment is confirmed. Once an order ships, a tracking number on that shipment is provided, and it is possible to monitor the order and learn the precise delivery date and even the time.

We do not recommend using old blinds, even custom orders from the past, because manufacturers take deductions at the factory and this may result in an uneven or awkward fit when those same figures are used on new blinds and shades. See our "How to Measure Window Guide", to guarantee you make the most accurate measurements.

Unfortunately, one way we control prices is by skipping any measuring and installation services. (We do provide installation within Klang Valley though, please reach out to us). However, we always say that anyone who is able to hang a picture is going to find it easy to hang custom window treatments. We are always here to help, and in addition to our measuring and installation guides, our customers can contact us by phone or email with questions.
